In the first cut video of "An exploration of the Life of Percy Ludgate" there are three errors: (1) Babbage's Mill was 8ft dia, whereas the presentation says the central ring gear was 8ft dia -- the ring gear is actually about 2ft dia. (2) The presentation says Babbage's store would be 500metres long, whereas it was meant to say 500ft. Note there are also some differences in opinion on this. Some say 250ft, whereas Doran Swade (builder of London Science Museum's Difference Engine) said 450ft (for 1000 numbers) in Hanna Fry's BBC documentary "Calculating Ada" (17-Sep-2015), here rounded to 500ft. The numbers were/are actually correct in the online Ludgate document in this catalog, and the presentation correctly said it would be twice the length of Westminster Cathedral (230ft), so it was clearly an unintentional verbal slip. (3) The presentation says Bridget Ludgate nee Buckley was from Doneraile, whereas it should say she was from Douglas, south of Cork City. See the Extended Discussion in the online Ludgate document in this catalog. There are also a couple of finer points: (3) The presentation says Ludgate was "fond" of his brother Frederick, whereas it meant to say "close", a very minor difference. (4) The presentation says that Ludgate studied accountancy from 1914, whereas it is only known that the B.Comm courses in UCD took 3yrs, and at that time the Rathmines College of Commerce had a much greater role than UCD in accountancy, and in fact Prof.Oldham who set up B.Comm in UCD after it was founded in 1909 had been the Principal at Rathmines from 1901-09, so it's likely but not certain Rathmines accountancy took 3yrs. This will be expanded upon in the online document on Ludgate in this catalog.
